Why We NEVER Use Particle Board
Most “interior-grade” cabinets found in mass-market stores are made of white melamine (particle core). While they look fine in a showroom, they are a disaster for garages, utility rooms, and workshops across Oregon and Washington where moisture and temperature fluctuate.
- The Problem: Particle board absorbs moisture, causing shelves to sag and doors to stop closing properly over time.
- The NW Solution: We exclusively use A-grade resin-laminated plywood (M.D.O.).
- The Result: Our cabinet boxes and shelves stay rigid and beautiful regardless of climate conditions. Plywood composites are incredibly strong, resilient to heavy loads, and resistant to oils, water, and chemicals.
